This is how WorkForce-NL handles your personal data. Last amended: 10 October 2026.

WorkForce-NL is an agency for independent technical professionals (freelancers) in petrochemicals, oil & gas, energy and process industry. We have been active since 2022 and are based at Harmoniestraat 15, 1951 AV Velsen-Noord. KvK: 85520071.
WorkForce-NL is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy statement. You can ask questions about it via info@workforce-nl.com or by phone on +31 6 27146350. We have not appointed a data protection officer, because we are not required to.
Which personal data do we process?
That depends on your role:
Freelancers and candidates: name, email address, phone number, place of residence or region, CV and the data in it (education, work experience, certificates such as VCA or ATEX), availability, desired rate, assignment preferences and data about your business as a self-employed person (company name, KvK number).
Clients: name and position of the contact person, company name, email address, phone number and details about the project or position you are looking for.
Website visitors: data from forms you fill in, and technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.
Communication: messages you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
We do not ask for special categories of personal data (such as data about health or religion), nor for your BSN or a copy of your ID when matching. Please do not include these in your CV. If an assignment or our back-office partner needs this for the contract, they will ask you separately.
What do we use your data for?
- Matching freelancers and clients. We use your data to match you with suitable assignments or professionals, to make proposals and to keep in touch. Legal basis: performance of a contract or taking steps towards one, and our legitimate interest in matching.
- Including you in our database. We keep your profile so that we can approach you for a next assignment. Legal basis: your consent or our legitimate interest, depending on how you came to us.
- Getting in touch. We answer your questions and requests made via the website, email, phone or WhatsApp. Legal basis: legitimate interest or performance of a contract.
- Administration and legal obligations. We comply with tax and other legal requirements. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- Improving and securing our website and services. Legal basis: legitimate interest or, where necessary, your consent.
With whom do we share your data?
We do not sell your data. We only share it when necessary for our services:
- Clients: when we propose a freelancer for a specific assignment, we share that freelancer’s profile with the client concerned. This always happens only with the freelancer’s consent.
- Our back-office partner (JEX): for payouts and invoicing.
- Suppliers who work for us (processors), such as providers of email, website hosting, our candidate database and tools for organising data. We make agreements with them about the security and use of your data.
- Government and supervisory authorities, where we are legally required to do so.
Some suppliers may process data outside the European Economic Area. We then ensure appropriate safeguards, for example through standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
Automated processing and AI
To organise and summarise CVs and profiles faster, we use automated tools, including AI support. They help us read out and structure data. We do not make decisions about you that are based solely on automated processing: an employee of WorkForce-NL assesses your profile and decides whether and how we get in touch.
How long do we keep your data?
We do not keep your data longer than necessary:
- Profiles of freelancers and candidates: 2 years after the last contact. If you want to be removed sooner, let us know.
- Client data: as long as we have a business relationship and 2 years after that.
- Administrative and tax data: 7 years, as required by law.
- Data from contact forms and messages: as long as necessary to handle your question.
How do we secure your data?
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access, such as restricting access to our systems, secure connections and agreements with suppliers. Do you notice that data is not properly secured or are there signs of misuse? Then please contact us via info@workforce-nl.com.

Our website uses functional cookies that are needed to make the site work. If we also use analytical or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent beforehand.
